About Phoebe

 

Phoebe Alexandra Hayward is an actor based in Australia and the United Kingdom.  She is a recent university graduate, having completed her BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance at the University for the creative arts.  She previously studied at the Canberra Academy of Dramatic Arts (now Perform Australia).  She has worked on a number of plays, devised pieces, and short films with recent work including Sweat (Lynn Nottage) and a I Haven't a Thing to Wear; a devised autobiographical show that combined comedic theatre, dance, and burlesque.  At UCA she has trained in movement and vocal techniques, stage combat, and film-making (including basic crew roles and film editing). 

 

Phoebe also has an extensive dance background, having trained in classical ballet (including en pointe), contemporary, modern jazz, and pole/aerial dancing.  She has studied classical piano (to AMEB Grade 6) and has some training in contemporary singing.
